Howard `Bugs’ Limeburg Oldtown, Idaho
No service will be held for Howard Franklin “Bugs” Limeburg, 71, at his request. Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home in Newport, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Limeburg, who was born in Hillside, N.J., died Wednesday.
He worked in maintenance and operations at the Suburban Country Club Golf Course in Union, N.J., for 35 years. He moved to Idaho in 1978.
He worked at Stoneridge Golf Course in Blanchard, Idaho, before retiring in 1988.
Mr. Limeburg was an avid rodeo competitor.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; three daughters, Shannon Glockner of Oldtown, and Lynn Fox and Lea Olejars, both of Jackson, N.J.; a son, Howard Limeburg of Oldtown; and his mother, Marion of Pennsylvania.
Edna Hagstrom Spokane
Private service will be held for Edna Louise Hagstrom. Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hagstrom, who was born in San Diego, died last Tuesday. 23. She was 66.
She moved with her family to Clark Fork, Idaho, in 1948, and graduated from Clark Fork High School in 1950.
In 1952 she married David Hagstrom. They were later divorced.
Over the years Mrs. Hagstrom worked as a cook and a waitress at various restaurants, including the old Clark Fork Cafe.
She was also a well-known pianist.
Survivors include two sons, Neal Hagstrom of Spokane and Keith Hagstrom of Kanagawa, Japan; two daughters, Joanne Stebbins of Coeur d’Alene and Donna Higgens of Clark Fork; her mother, Pearl Norman of Sandpoint; three brothers, Albert Schenck of Clark Fork, Allen Norman of Pendleton, Ore., and Rick Norman of Wallace; four sisters, Phyllis Kardos of Spokane, Marie Eacker of Kimberly, Idaho, Sharon Dunne of Elko, Nev., and Rita Plummer of Mexico; and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Hagstrom has donated her body to the University of Idaho to be studied for the advancement of medical science.
Kenneth Murray Coeur d’Alene
Private service for Kenneth R. Murray, 48, will be held later. English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Murray, who was born in Bend, Ore., died Saturday.
He served with the Army during the Vietnam War.
He was a longtime resident of Hood River, Ore., where he worked as a high school automobile shop teacher.
Mr. Murray moved to the Coeur d’Alene area in 1995 and was the former manager of Coeur d’Alene Discount Theaters.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy; a son, William Murray of Oregon; four stepsons, Jacob, Jared, Samuel and Wesley Cord, all of Coeur d’Alene; a daughter, Kathryn Lease of Oregon; two stepdaughters, Jodie Cord of Ireland and Elizabeth Twitty of Virginia; and one grandchild.
Mabel Tweten Coeur d’Alene
Visitation for Mabel Rose Tweten, 86, will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene. Service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Coeur d’Alene Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, Calif.
Mrs. Tweten, who was born in Minnesota, died Sunday.
She grew up and attended schools in Minnesota and married Clarence Tweten in 1931.
In 1956 she moved to California, where she worked for Hughes Aircraft.
She moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1993 and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Her husband died in 1970.
Survivors include three sons, Allen and Milton Tweten, both of Minnesota, and Curtis Tweten of California; a daughter, Darlene Lenz of Coeur d’Alene; a brother, Gordon Stulz of Nebraska; 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Roy Oliver Sandpoint
Service for Roy Edward Oliver, 88, will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Coffelt Funeral Service in Sandpoint. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Sandpoint. Memorial potluck will follow at Sandpoint Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Oliver, who was born in Bronx, Idaho, died Friday.
He grew up in the Sandpoint area and worked in the timber industry before serving with the Army during World War II.
Mr. Oliver attended Kinman Business College and worked as an accountant. He worked for the state in Olympia and retired in 1975. He had been a student at several colleges and universities in the Northwest for the past 20 years.
Two wives preceded him in death, Margaret in 1949 and Ruby in 1978.
Survivors include two children, Nancy Johnson and Steve Oliver; a sister, Ruth Green; six stepchildren, Dee Nolen, Fay Swanson, Letricia “Pat” Noland, Delores Turnbull, Pauline Welter and James Nolen; three grandchildren and numerous stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
Edna (Russett) Stubbe Colfax, Wash.
Funeral for Edna Elizabeth (Russett) Stubbe, 85, will be at 2 p.m. today at Bruning Funeral Home in Colfax. Burial will follow at the St. John (Wash.) Cemetery.
Mrs. Stubbe, who was born in Spokane, died Friday.
She moved with her family to Malden, Wash., and graduated from Malden High School.
Mrs. Stubbe married Alvis Stubbe in 1937, and they lived in St. John for several years.
She was a homemaker and a member of the St. John Christian Church.
Her husband died in April last year, and she moved to Colfax.
Survivors include three sons, Darrel Stubbe of St. John, Douglas Stubbe of Colfax and Donald Stubbe of Lincoln, Del.; a sister, Margaret Stubbe of Coeur d’Alene; and three grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Colfax Emergency Medical Technicians.
Thelma `Tommie’ Johnson Hayden, Idaho
Visitation for Thelma “Tommie” Johnson, 80, will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel. Service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Hayden Chapel.
Mrs. Johnson, who was born in Marshalltown, Iowa, died Saturday.
She grew up in Iowa and graduated from high school in Nebraska.
She lived and worked in California and in 1960 moved to Bridgeport, Wash., where she co-owned a bowling alley.
Mrs. Johnson also worked as head apple sorter for a Brewster, Wash., apple co-op before selling the bowling alley and moving to Hayden in 1970.
She was a member of the Coeurly Q’s of Coeur d’Alene and Jack and Jenny’s Club of Spokane.
Survivors include her husband of more than 60 years, Paul; two sons, Paul Johnson Jr. of Issaquah, Wash., and Gary Johnson of Pullman; three brothers, M.P. Stidham of Arizona, Clarence Stidham of Oregon and Virgil Stidham of Nevada; two sisters, Juanita Hamilton of Coeur d’Alene and Rowena Hayden of Post Falls; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
