Police blotter Coeur d’Alene police

Larry Myers, employee of Check-It-Out Video, reported Wednesday the $515 theft of five videocassettes and nine video game cartridges when they were rented and not returned to the business at 408 Haycraft Ave.

Terry Pennington reported Wednesday the $2,000 theft of a Compaq laptop computer from his van while it was parked at his home on the 2300 block of 12th Street.

Ida Carr reported Wednesday the $1,222 theft of various compact discs, camcorder, Nintendo game cartridge and cell phone battery from her home on the 1000 block of B Street.

Kootenai County sheriff

John Nelson, St. Maries, reported Wednesday the $3,800 theft of a chain saw, tools and an air compressor from his home on the 26700 block of state Highway 3.
