Sportfest Debuts

Active sports show

A new recreational consumer show will debut in Spokane next weekend, featuring fitness, sports and health vendors as well as outdoor activity and retailers with interests ranging from golf to mountain biking.

The programs scheduled for center stage deal with sports such as basketball and golf. Some of the 85 exhibitors will cover outdoors interests such as family camping, rafting, paddle sports and bicycling.

Sportfest will be held at the Spokane Convention Center, running Friday 5-9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Cost is $6. Kids 12 and under are free.
