Kellogg Student Charged In Beating

Sat., March 13, 1999

An 18-year-old Kellogg High School student was badly beaten Friday, according to the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Department.

Another student, age 17, was taken into custody and charged with aggravated battery. Neither was identified.

The victim was being treated for severe injuries late Friday.

The incident occurred around 1 p.m., according to Kellogg police.

Officers, along with deputies, were called to the emergency room of Shoshone Medical Center after the victim showed up there for treatment.

No further details were released.
