Baseball, Softball Signups Close Soon

The last chance to register for baseball and softball in Post Falls will be this weekend.

Today, Little League will have baseball tryouts for 9-year-olds from 10 a.m. to noon at the new field on 19th Avenue; 10-year-olds will try out at the same field at 1 p.m. For softball, tryouts for 15 and 16-year-olds will be at Frederick Post Field near the library from 10 a.m. to noon.

On Sunday, baseball tryouts continue for 15- to 16-year-olds at 2 p.m. at the fields at 21st and Spokane streets.

Players should show up early to the tryouts if they haven’t registered. They should bring a glove and shoes.

Post Falls Little League still needs corporate sponsors for teams.
