Photo Seminar Being Held At Ridpath
The annual “Photo Seminar on Photographing Nature,” sponsored by the Inland Empire Chapter of Photographic Society of America, will be from 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Saturday at Cavanaughs Ridpath Hotel, 515 W. Sprague.
Presentations by Daniel Poleschook Jr., Ginger Gumm and Paul Nicklen include: “Color in Nature Photography,” “Images of Winter,” “Photographing a Frozen World,” “Nature’s Splendor at Loon Lake,” “Seasons of the Arctic,” and “African Safari.”
Registration is $25 by Monday, or $30 after that. To register, mail your check to PSA Inland Empire Chapter, in care of Viola G. Garrison, 5311 E. Woolard Road, Colbert, WA 99005. An additional $2 will be charged for speakers’ notes.

Auditions
The Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre is holding auditions for its summer season from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday in the North Idaho College Boswell Hall, Room 113 in Coeur d’Alene.
Auditioners are to prepare 16 bars from two selections, one musical theater and the other “pop belt.” A photo and resume are required. Be prepared to dance.

Spokane Children’s Theatre will conduct auditions for “Narnia” at 7 p.m. March 29 and 30 at St. Aloysius School, 611 E. Mission.
Adults and children from age 8 up are needed. Those trying out are to prepare a one-minute song; an accompanist will be provided.

Washington’s State University’s School of Music and Theatre Arts will conduct auditions for the Pullman Summer Palace theater company from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the WSU Daggy Hall’s R.R. Jones Theatre on campus in Pullman.
The auditions are for the selection of 12 full-time performers and technicians. The company works June through July with a stipend for the season of $1,000.
Auditions consist of a serious or comic monologue and a song not to exceed six minutes. No accompaniment will be provided, you must bring your own cassette tape.

Auditions for the Western Ballet Theatre’s production of “Sleeping Beauty” will be Saturday and March 28 at the Ballet Arts Academy, 416 W. Sprague.
Eight Garland Girls, six Pages to the Fairies, eight Caraboosse Pages, six Huntresses, four page boys, and court ladies are needed Dancer requirements range in age, skill level, and height. Dancers chosen to perform will be required to attend weekly rehearsals.
