Gretna Green Wedding Chapel was the setting for the Feb. 27 wedding of Monica L. Smith and Michael T. Abbott.

The bride is the daughter of Randy and Shari Smith, Greenacres. The bridegroom is the son of John and Joyce Abbott, Athol, Idaho.

A reception was at Cafe Americana. The Abbotts, who plan to honeymoon at a later date, are living in Spokane.

The bride, a graduate of Spokane Community College, is a dental assistant. The groom, who graduated from Purdue University, is an engineer.
