Potlatch Timber Expo To Get Rolling Today

The Third Annual Potlatch Timbersports and Natural Resources Expo is slated for today and Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. both days.

The free outdoor event, held in the Potlatch Community Park, located across the street from the elementary school, is intended to showcase trends and ideas in agriculture and natural resources industries.

The two-day expo caters to school groups today and brings logger sports into the spotlight Saturday, with national, local and regional competitors.

A birling (or log-rolling) pond, demonstrations of high-tech logging systems and other exhibits will be on display.

Local journalism is essential.
