Mae Gulick Moscow, Idaho
Graveside service for Mae M. Gulick, 94, will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Moscow Cemetery. Kramer Funeral Home in Palouse, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Gulick, who died Thursday, was born in Mapleton, Iowa.
With her family she moved to Sweetgrass, Mont., and in 1916 to Palouse, Wash., where she completed her schooling.
Mrs. Gulick married Lloyd Powe in 1928 and they made their home in Onaway, Idaho.
She worked as a waitress in Palouse and at the Potlatch (Idaho) Confectionery. During World War II she worked at the Potlatch Mill. She also worked sorting peas at a seed company and for a laundry facility, both in Moscow.
After divorcing Mr. Powe, she moved to Moscow in 1968. In 1971 she married Edwin Gulick. He died in 1979.
In 1986 Mrs. Gulick moved to the Good Samaritan Village retirement apartments. For the past three years she has been living in the extendedcare facility at Good Samaritan.
Survivors include a son, Delmar Powe of Tacoma; two daughters, Bertha Nygaard of Potlatch and Eileen Carter of LaCrosse, Wash.; two sisters, Katie Smith and Mabel Stark, both of Sunnyside, Wash.; nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Moscow Good Samaritan Village.
Wilmot Miller Sr. Spokane
Vigil for Wilmot Joseph Miller Sr., 76, will be at 7 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Funeral Mass is planned for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Inurnment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A 43-year Spokane resident. Mr. Miller died Thursday. He was born in Seattle.
Mr. Miller served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked for Lincoln Mutual Savings for many years.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, the Washington State Bar Association, Athletic Round Table and the Greater Spokane Softball Association.
His wife of 47 years, Patricia, died in 1995.
Survivors include two sons, Wilmot Miller Jr. of Spokane and Geoffrey Miller of Puyallup, Wash.; three daughters, Jane Floyd of Bethesda, Md., Mary Karin Miller of Moscow, Idaho, and Ann Miller of Seattle; two sisters, Sister Jane Miller of Atherton, Calif., and Dorothy Pickel of Seattle; and eight grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the YWCA or Hospice of Spokane.
Fred Herdrich Spokane
Visitation for Fred N. Herdrich, 90, will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Funeral is planned for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Almira (Wash.) Cemetery.
A 10-year Spokane resident, Mr. Herdrich died Saturday. He was born in Almira.
Mr. Herdrich was a wheat farmer for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Florice; two sons, Norman Herdrich of Spokane and John Herdrich of Selah, Wash.; two daughters, Alison Herdrich of Spokane and Karen Barber of Reno, Nev.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
Charles Baumgartner Moscow, Idaho
Memorial service for Charles W. Baumgartner, 84, will be today at 1:30 p.m. at Short’s Funeral Chapel in Moscow.
Mr. Baumgartner, who was born in Leon, Idaho, , died Saturday.
He graduated from Genesee High School and then lived in Lewiston and worked for Huggins Creamery and Mark Means Co. Mr. Baumgartner returned to Genesee in 1947 and worked for the Genesee Union Warehouse for 33 years, retiring in 1980. He later moved to Moscow.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Pat; two sons, Maury Baumgartner of Seattle and Dave Baumgartner of Genesee; a daughter, Julie Roach of Genesee; two sisters, Dorothy Bertrand of Oregon and Kathryn Springer of Genesee; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Genesee Ambulance Fund.
Linda Bean Coeur d’Alene
No service will be held for Linda Aileen Bean, 52, at her request. English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bean, who died Sunday was born in Coeur d’Alene.
She lived in North Carolina before returning to Coeur d’Alene in 1948.
In 1965 she married James Bean. She was a homemaker, artist and poet.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Trisha Bean of Coeur d’Alene; a sister, Paula Hamby of Spirit Lake, Idaho; a brother, Jim Hamby of Post Falls; and three grandchildren.
Robert Andrews Gig Harbor, Wash.
Memorial service for Robert Bruce Andrews, 83, will be at 3 p.m. today at Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church in Gig Harbor, Wash. Graveside service is planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Spokane Memorial Gardens. Tacoma Funeral Home and Cemeteries is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Andrews, who was born in Oregon City, Ore., died Thursday.
He owned Andrews Equipment in Spokane from 1942 until 1979. He moved to Western Washington several years ago.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Dorothy; three sons, Michael, Spencer and Robert Andrews Jr.; four brothers, John, Wilbur, James and Thomas Andrews; two sisters, Jeanne and Dorres; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Elmer Braun Clayton, Wash.
Visitation for Elmer Braun, 85, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Lauer Funeral Home in Deer Park. Funeral is planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Deer Park Open Door Congregational Church. Graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the Odessa (Wash.) Cemetery.
Mr. Braun, who was born in Ritzville, Wash., died Thursday.
He graduated from Ritzville High School in 1933 and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II in the North African and European theaters.
He married Marie Ramm in 1950.
In 1953 he moved to Clayton, where he farmed for many years.
Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Aaron Braun of Ritzville, and Howard Braun of Deer Park; two sisters, Dorothy Braun of Spokane and Laura Miller of Moses Lake.
