So you typically stay away from Starbucks because you don’t drink coffee?

Well, take another look. The Seattle-based chain has introduced a seasonal, semi-sinful Caramel Apple Cider drink: freshly steamed apple cider spiked with cinnamon syrup and topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel.

Starbucks’ public relations people liken the concoction to “a mug of hot apple pie.”

Hey, how ‘bout some coffee with that pie?

Price: $2.25 for 12 ounces, $2.60 for 16 ounces or $2.85 for 20 ounces.

Available: At all area Starbucks outlets.
