Spotlight: Fly Tying

Looking for that perfect gift for the fly fisherman on your Christmas list? The Spokane Fly Fishers just may have the answer. A quality locally tied fly.

The club will hold its annual auction Tuesday at the Wildlife Council Building, 6116 N. Market, beginning at 7 p.m.

Even if you don’t want to buy, you may enjoy just looking at some of the flies and displays. The club has a special award for the tier who shows the most imagination in presenting their flies.

There will also be a special mystery fly up for bid.

Money generated is used by the club for conservation projects.
