Posey Pin Gets Win For Nic

Heavyweight John Posey picked up the only pin of the match and North Idaho College earned a victory because of it.

The Cardinals upended Pacific 18-16 on Friday, with Posey’s pin changing the momemtum of the match.

Ry Stone opened with a 7-6 win in the 184-pound class for NIC, but 197-pounder David Sandburg was beaten 14-0 in the second match.

Enter Posey, who pinned his opponent in 1 minute, 26 seconds, to send the Cardinals on their way to victory.

NIC wrestles at the Southern Oregon Tournament today in Ashland.
