Round And Round

“The London Eye,” at 443 feet, the world’s tallest Ferris wheel, is lifted to its upright position for final work. It is scheduled to begin its duties on New Year’s Eve. Instead of conventional chairs, it will feature large, walk-around passenger capsules. Twenty-five people will be able to fit inside each of the 32 glass-encased capsules, getting an unparalleled view of London and its environs during a one-rotation ride lasting 30 minutes.
