Wayne And Doris Thompson Spokane

Wayne and Doris (Karvonen) Thompson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 14 with a reception and dinner at Cavanaughs River Inn.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Greg and Dot Thompson, North Fort Meyers, Fla.; Geff and Pam Thompson, Coeur d’Alene; Griff and Carmen Thompson, Gaithersburg, Md.; Garrick and Colleen Thompson, Spokane; and Wes and Tracy Wangen, Portland.

The Thompsons were married Sept. 4, 1949, in Faulkton, S.D. They have six grandchildren.
