Suspect Sought In Cda Bank Robbery

Local and federal investigators are searching for a robber who held up a downtown bank Tuesday afternoon.

A man wearing a curly blonde wig and black-rimmed glasses walked into U.S. Bank at 1603 N. Fourth around 12:40 p.m.

He gave a bank teller a note demanding money. The teller complied, giving him an undisclosed amount of money, according to Coeur d’Alene police reports.

He was last seen leaving the bank on foot through its west entrance.

The robber was described as white, at least 6 feet tall, 150 to 175 pounds, wearing a green baseball cap, a green military-style jacket and green pants.

Coeur d’Alene Police officials and FBI agents are continuing the investigation.
