Panel On Lead Risks To Hold Meetings
An Idaho task force determining the human health risk from lead and other mining-related metals will conduct public meetings in Coeur d’Alene and the Silver Valley on Wednesday.
Meetings will be at 11 a.m. in the UCC Congregational Church, 408 Cedar St. in Wallace, and at 4 p.m. in Meeting Room 1 in the Kootenai County Administration Building in Coeur d’Alene.
Presentations from the task force will clarify the authority and role of the group, and present the state’s position and plan for Idaho’s risk management strategy.
