Lois Bangham Spokane

Memorial service for Lois Bangham, 74, will be Friday at 10 a.m. at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene. Mrs. Bangham, who was born in Pinehurst, Idaho, died Sunday.

She grew up in Pinehurst and graduated from Kingston High School.

In 1964 she moved to Alhambra, Calif.

In 1966 Mrs. Bangham married Rodney Bangham, and in 1972 they moved to Spokane, where she was a homemaker, gardener and crochet crafts artist.

Survivors include her husband, Rodney; a son, Bob Stoffer of California; a brother, Ron Higgins of Hayden Lake, Idaho; two sisters, Joyce Branum of Texas and Lorene Masters of Arizona; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Harold Brayman Spokane

No service will be held for Harold L. Brayman, 75, at his request. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Harrison, Idaho, Mr. Brayman died Friday.

Mr. Brayman served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War. He retired in 1963.

He later worked as an electrician for the Burlington Northern Railroad for 20 years.

He was a 37-year Spokane resident and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church.

His wife, Charlotte, died in 1985.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry and Robert Brayman, and two daughters, Mary and Cheryl Brayman, all of Spokane; a brother, William Brayman of Arizona; a sister, Janice Robinson of Susanville, Calif.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

James Fulton Rosalia, Wash.

Memorial service for James “Jim” Fulton, 71, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rosalia High School. Private graveside service will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Spokane. Schanzenbach Funeral Home in Rosalia is in charge of arrangements.

A 23-year Rosalia resident, Mr. Fulton died Tuesday. He was born in Worley, Idaho.

He graduated from the University of Idaho and served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was retired from the Postal Service.

His wife, Eileen, died in 1976.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Fulton of Lacey, Wash., and Susan Bain of Cincinnati; a brother, Jerry Fulton of Plaza; and two sisters, Lois Johnson of Spokane and Eleanor Miller of Waverly.

Corrine Jones Post Falls

Memorial service for Corrine Mary Jones, 73, was Monday at the family home in Post Falls. Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Jones, who was born in Montana, died Saturday.

She grew up in Montana and graduated from high school in Cutbank, Mont., and then moved to Seattle and worked for Alaska Communications during World War II.

In 1945 she married C.C. Jones, and in 1952 they moved to Great Falls, Mont., before settling in Spokane, where she was a homemaker.

They moved to Moscow in 1965, and she worked for the Forest Service until purchasing a ladies’ apparel store in Missoula in 1974.

They retired and moved to Post Falls in 1994.

Mrs. Jones was a member of the Lutheran Church and enjoyed outdoor recreation.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Julie Smith of Big Fork, Mont., and Trish Jones of Portland; two sons, Perry Jones of Lake Oswego, Ore., and John Jones of Graham, Wash.; three sisters, Georgia Birth of Spokane, Phyllis Curtis of Great Falls, and Helen Baggerly of Beaverton, Ore.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Manuel Santos Jr. Spokane

Service for Manuel S. Santos Jr., 36, will be at 2 p.m. today at Riplinger Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.

A lifetime Spokane resident, Mr. Santos died Wednesday Survivors include his wife, Debbie; six children, Misty, Mickey, Brittany, Angelo, Summer and Manuel Santos V, all of Spokane; his mother, Mary Marquette of Spokane; a sister, Sabrina Fairbanks, and three brothers, Antonio, Miguel and Mike Santos, all of Spokane; two stepsisters, Laurie Santoro of Spokane and Tina Ferra of Idaho; two stepbrothers, Patrick and Johnny Marquette, both of Spokane; and his grandmother, Helen Dunn of Spokane.

Agnes `Peggie’ Herrmann Spokane

No service will be held for Agnes O. “Peggie” Herrmann, 85. Private burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Herrmann, who was born in Veblen, S.D., died Saturday.

She was a 50-year Spokane resident and worked as an executive housekeeper at a local retirement facility.

Her husband preceded her in death.

Survivors include three sons, Thomas and John Herrmann, both of Spokane, and David Rodseth of Detroit Lakes, Minn.; a daughter, Patricia Ferrin of Fullerton, Calif.; two sisters, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Del Helmhout Coeur d’Alene

Graveside service for Del L. Helmhout, 64, will be today at 11 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene. Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Helmhout, who was born in Custer, S.D., died Friday.

He grew up in Oregon and California and lived in California before settling in Oregon in 1970.

Mr. Helmhout moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1990 and operated 3-H Mechanical with his son, Kyle.

Mr. Helmhout was a member of the Bah’ai faith.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Larson; two daughters, Denise McKern of Cove, Ore., and Lori White of Coeur d’Alene; two sons, Kyle Helmhout of Coeur d’Alene and Sean Helmhout of Mount Vernon, Ore.; a brother, Keith Helmhout of Coeur d’Alene; a sister, Marlene Snider of California; and six grandchildren.

Margaret Heinrich Greenacres

Visitation for Margaret B. Heinrich, 89, will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home. Service is planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hope Lutheran Church in Greenacres. Burial will follow at Spokane Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Heinrich, who was born in Detroit, died Saturday.

She was a Spokane-area resident for 50 years and worked as a meat wrapper for A&K Market. She later owned and operated the Short Stop Grocery in the Spokane Valley for more than 10 years.

She was a resident of Good Samaritan Village in Greenacres for the past several years.

Mrs. Heinrich was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.

Her husband, Elmer, died in 1965.

Survivors include a son, Ted Heinrich of Spokane; a daughter, Marlene Rettig of Veradale; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
