Silver Mountain Starts Postseason Schedule

From Staff

Though other Inland Northwest ski areas have closed for the season, Silver Mountain will open this weekend for its first “Silver Saturday.”

In 1997, the Kellogg ski resort began opening on Saturdays after the regular season ended, provided enough people showed up the previous weekend.

Silver still has almost nine feet of snow on its summit and eight feet at its base. The price of lift tickets will be reduced to $20 for adults, $15 for children and free for kids up to age 7.

The resort will continue to open on Saturdays as long as 1,000 people show up.
