FOR THE RECORD: 5-2-2000 Time wrong: The Spokane String Quartet will perform tonight beginning at 7:30 at The Met. The concert time was listed incorrectly in Friday’s Weekend section.

The Spokane String Quartet is entertaining guests at its concert Tuesday. Players in the quartet include violinists Kelly Farris and Jane Blegen, viola Claire Keeble and cellist John Marshall. They will be joined by flutist Bruce Bodden, oboist Keith Thomas, clarinetist Eugene Mondie, bassoonist Lynne Feller-Marshall and horn player Margaret Wilds — all principal wind players in the Spokane Symphony — and Roma Vayspapir, former principal double bass of the orchestra.

Tuesday’s program includes Franz Schubert’s Octet and Bohuslav Martinu’s Nonet.

The concert — The Spokane String Quartet and Guests — begins at 8 p.m. Tuesday at The Met. Tickets are $15, $12 for seniors, $6 for students, at The Met box office, Hoffman Music and at G&B outlets.
