State’S Prosecutors Hold Meeting

Kootenai County is hosting the Idaho Prosecuting Attorneys Association annual summer conference this week.

From Wednesday to Friday, prosecutors from across the state will meet to discuss topics including street-level drug cases, pyramid schemes, DNA lab training and methamphetamines.

Speakers from New Jersey, California and Texas will make presentations at the conference being held at Cavanaugh’s Resort in Post Falls.

Kootenai County Prosecutor Bill Douglas said he will ask the association to support asking for tougher Idaho pipe bomb laws.
