Ray and Joan Norman celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 5 with an open house at the home of their son, Jerry Norman, Veradale.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Peggy and Tom Amaan, Kathy Pryor and Richard Miller, all of Mead; Jerry and Janette Norman, Veradale; and Jim and Pat Norman, Spokane.

The Normans were married Aug. 5, 1950, in Spokane. They have 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
