Cda Names New Finance Boss
The City of Coeur d’Alene hired a finance director Wednesday to fill the position that has been vacant since John Austin resigned in February.
The city hired Troy Tymesen, who will start the position Monday, Mayor Steve Judy said.
Tymesen has worked for the past several years in banking, most recently at Key Bank in Coeur d’Alene as a sales manager.
Tymesen earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and natural science from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis.
He replaced Austin who served the city for nine years.
In June, the city offered the position to a job candidate who refused the job. It would have paid him less than half what he was already making.
Three other candidates for finance director dropped out before June.
The city is still searching for a fire chief and city administrator.
