Rev. Glenn Kennedy, pastor of Covenant United Methodist Church, 15515 N. Gleneden Drive.
Background: Kennedy has served at Covenant United Methodist Church for four years. The native of Fruitland, Wash., was ordained in 1975 after graduating from Princeton Theological Seminary. Prior to his arrival in Spokane, he served a yoked parish in Cashmere and Monitor, Wash.
Before that, for nine years he served another yoked parish for Mead and Green Bluff, north of Spokane.
Kennedy is a member of Northside Ministerial Fellowship and the Spokane Interfaith and Education Alliance, an organization that brings together churches, educational institutions and unions.
Personal: Kennedy and his wife, Carol, have been married 24 years and have three grown children. Carol works as a special education teacher in Springdale, Wash. The two also breed Arabian horses on their small farm in Deer Park.
