Until Friday night, The Spokesman-Review has been using a database developed by Sportshuddle.com to gather statistics for high school sports. Unfortunately, Sportshuddle.com has ceased operation because of financial shortcomings.

Sportshuddle.com was popular among our readers and greatly assisted us in producing statistical leaders. The product was a big hit for many newspapers across the country. We were looking forward to trying it out during the winter sports season.

It is our hope that one of several potential buyers will purchase the company and resume operations. Until then, we will be unable to post results on our Web site. We apologize for this shortcoming. This will not affect our efforts to bring you results of high school varsity events in the next day’s newspaper.
