Schroeder Powers Ccs To Rout

Area college basketball

Daniela Schroeder scored a game-high 20 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished out four assists Friday to spark the Community Colleges of Spokane Sasquatch past visiting North Seattle 86-32 in women’s non-conference play.

Alice Stearns pulled down nine rebounds for CCS (5-3).

The Sasquatch shot 48 percent (35 of 72) from the field, while North Seattle made just 14 of 51 shots (27 percent).

CCS starting point guard Chad Quesnall played just 5 minutes because of illness, and backup point guard Larry Thomas did not travel with the team because he missed the bus.
