The Inchelium Hornets are making a smooth transition from the football field to the basketball court.
Chris Burch totaled 13 points and 10 rebounds Saturday to help Inchelium to a 46-44 win at Curlew in the Panorama League.
The Hornets won the State B-8 football title last weekend and are 2-0 in basketball.
Curlew’s Craig Groth made a basket with 22 seconds left for a 46-44 score. Inchelium had a turnover with 7 seconds left, and the Cougars missed a 3-point attempt with 2 seconds to go.
