The marriage of Cara E. Emmel to Travis R. Harken was solemnized in a May 26 ceremony at Grace Baptist Church.

Steve and Roxene Emmel, Liberty Lake, are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Brent and Marcia Harken, Moscow, Idaho.

A reception was at Mukogawa Fort Wright Commons. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon in Hawaii.

The bride graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor of science degree in psychology. The groom is a graduate of the University of Idaho with a bachelor of science degree in sports science.
