Messiah Lutheran Church was the setting for the Aug. 11 wedding of Jaclyn Wendy Haley and Christopher Thomas Sackman.

The bride is the daughter of Jack and Rosita Haley, Newman Lake, and Geri and Larry Hernvall, Spokane. The groom is the son of Ray and Paulette Sackman, Spokane.

A reception was at the Sons of Norway. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon in Edmonton, Alberta.

The bride is a student at the Intercollegiate School of Nursing, and the groom is a dispatcher for the Fire Department.
