Cda Schools Receive Pledge For $420,000
Coeur d’Alene schools received a financial boost recently when the J.A. & Kathryn Albertson Foundation pledged $420,000 for the district’s Learning for the 21st Century project.
Goals include increasing student achievement, reducing dropout rates and preparing students for postsecondary education.
The Coeur d’Alene School District was one of seven districts receiving Albertson Foundation pledges.
Superintendent David Rawls said the money will help the district prepare for state graduation standards going into effect in 2005.
