Summary: The Vandals have had a week to stew over an embarrassing 68-31 loss to Montana State - Idaho’s lowest output and MSU’s best defensive effort in half a century. Idaho is off to its worst start since Jim Jarvis’ 1976-77 crew opened 1-10. The Vandals were 1-4 last year before rebounding with three straight wins. UI center Chris Monroe is expected to return after a three-game suspension. Idaho has been slightly more productive at home, but it will have to improve a bunch to compete against an MSU team that is 169 spots higher than UI on the Sagarin Ratings.
