Janine DeVries exchanged wedding vows with Jonathan R. McClintock in a July 15 ceremony at a private home in Palos Verdes, Calif.

The bride is the daughter of John and Judy DeVries, Council Bluff, Iowa. Michael and Marjorie McClintock, Spokane, are parents of the groom.

A reception followed the ceremony. The couple are living in Torrance after a honeymoon in Oahu, Hawaii.

A graduate of Lewis Central High School in Iowa and Northwestern College, the bride is a kindergarten teacher at Hickory Elementary. The groom, a graduate of West Valley High School and Gonzaga University, is a chemistry and geometry teacher at Bishop Montgomery High School.
