Boise Man Gets New Post With Aarp

A Boise man has been named field volunteer director for the American Association of Retired Persons.

In his new role, Dean Chatburn will serve the nonprofit organization in the nation’s 10 westernmost states and the U.S. Territory of Guam.

Chatburn takes the post Monday. In the new position, he will assist association state presidents and paid staff in directing programs for all volunteers.
