Police blotter Coeur d’Alene police

Fredrick Smith, 800 block of Best Ave., reported Sunday a snowblower valued at $1,200 was stolen from his residence.

Dick Mosier, president of Interlease Capitol Co., 1000 block of Northwest Blvd., reported Friday the $8,000 theft of a commercial trash compactor from the business.

Karina Kiele, of Spokane, reported Friday the theft of her computer, computer equipment, tools and a cellphone valued at $4,500 from her 1999 Dodge truck while parked in the 1000 block of Davidson Ave. sometime Thursday night.

Robert Mullins, owner of Green Mountain Manufacturing, 3112 N. Government Way, reported Thursday the $969 theft of a trailer from his business sometime between Nov. 4 and Dec. 18.

Eva McNinch reported Wednesday the $1,200 theft of cash and a locked safety box from a drawer in her room at Life Care Center.

Langford Palmer, Rose Lake, reported that while at the Coeur d’Alene Cinemas on Saturday a rototiller, glasses and miscellaneous items valued at $600 were stolen from his Subaru.

Sonja Chesla, owner of Gitty Up and Go Espresso, reported Thursday the $400 theft of an espresso machine from Coldwater Creek, 751 Hanley.

Marshall Rooney, a loss prevention officer at Shopko, 217 Ironwood Drive, reported Friday the $700 theft of cash by an employee and a customer.

Angela Epler, St. Maries, reported Wednesday that while at Shopko someone broke into her Ford Escort and stole a stereo, space heater and other items valued at $634.

David McLaughlin, 800 block of Mullan Ave., reported Thursday the $2,200 theft of his 1984 Nissan car.

Kootenai County sheriff

Alexis Koon, 6200 block of N. 18th St., reported Friday that while in the process of moving, a Kenmore washer and dryer valued at $1,000 were stolen from her home.

Anders Rosenlund, Bull Run Road, reported Friday $2,000 damage to 10 birch saplings by three snowmobilers.
