Highline Duo Too Much For Nic

Briana Duerr and Cal-Jean Lloyd each scored 21 points to spark the Highline Thunderbirds to an 82-66 victory over the North Idaho Cardinals Thursday at the Big Bend women’s tournament in Moses Lake.

Angie Lewis led the Cardinals (4-4) with 18 points, while her sister, Amy, scored 12.

Amanda Edlund had 12 rebounds for NIC.

North Idaho College forward Heather Cox is academically ineligible for the remainder of the basketball season.
