Brian Cardinal scored 17 points and Mike Robinson added 16 Tues- day night as Purdue rallied from a 10-point deficit in the second half to beat No. 6 Michigan State 70-67 in West Lafayette, Ind.

The Boilermakers (16-7, 7-3 Big Ten) trailed 57-47 after Mateen Cleaves hit a 3-pointer with 13:20 to play. Michigan State (17-6, 7-2) then saw Purdue score 10 consecutive points to tie the score on a free throw by Robinson with 8:19 remaining.

At Gainesville, Fla., the Gators (18-4, 7-2 SEC) validated their spot among the nation’s elite, getting 11 points and 18 rebounds from Mike Miller in a wire-to-wire victory over the Wildcats (17-6, 7-2).

(16) Oklahoma 85, Kansas St. 64

At Norman, Okla., J.R. Raymond scored 17 points and Eduardo Najera had 15 points and nine rebounds as the Sooners (19-3, 7-2 Big 12) handed the Wildcats (8-13, 1-9) their ninth straight loss.

At Ames, Iowa, Megan Taylor hit three straight 3-pointers to spark a key second-half burst and finished with a season-high 25 points as the Cyclones (18-3, 9-1 Big 12)) handed the Sooners (19-4, 9-1) their first conference loss.
