Deer Park Rolls Over Riverside
Wyatt Zimmerer scored a season-high 18 points Thursday night, including 12 in the first quarter, and Deer Park’s boys defeated visiting Riverside 72-32 to close within one game of first place in the Great Northern League.
Zimmerer and Shane Mitchell combined for 15 rebounds for the Stags, and Zack Axel added five steals.
Deer Park trails Chewelah (8-1) with three league games left. The Stags play at Chewelah on Tuesday.
