Get Your Irish Up At Special Screening
The Irish-themed film “This Is My Father,” a family project headlined by actor Aidan Quinn, will screen tonight and Saturday as part of the ongoing
“This Is My Father” will play at 7 p.m. both nights at Washington State University’s Riverpoint Campus, 668 N. Riverpoint Blvd. (just off Trent). The film will be shown in the Phase One Classroom Building Auditorium.
“This Is My Father” stars Aidan Quinn, was directed by brother Paul Quinn and was filmed by third brother Declan Quinn. Set both in 1999 and 1939, the film tells the story of an Illinois teacher (James Caan) and his quest to find out the true story of his father (Aidan Quinn), whom he never knew.
The series has two more films scheduled: Korea’s “Christmas in August” on March 17-18, and Senegal’s “Hyenas” on April 14-15.
