Husband Arrested In Wife’S Shooting
A Post Falls woman was in fair condition Tuesday after being shot Monday afternoon, allegedly during a domestic dispute, police said.
Kootenai County sheriff’s deputies said Barbara Trotter, 60, had been shot in the shoulder around 4:45 p.m., according to police reports.
Her husband, Kenneth Trotter, 67, was arrested on charges of aggravated battery and taken to the Kootenai County Jail.
Deputies responded to a 911 call to 3405 Elk Drive and found Barbara Trotter at a neighbor’s home.
