Travis Pascoe, 189, Gonzaga Prep, and Tommy Owen, 125, University, are both unbeaten this year and seeking their third straight state titles… . Knights John Sommer, 112, and Josh Birt, 189, and Ferris’s Doug Baker, 112, have been state finalists.

Mat facts: Tri-district champion Clarkston has six state entries, Cheney five and Colville two… . Tim Slater, 135, Colville, was 4th at 129 in 2A last year and David Courchaine, 145, Cheney, was 7th at 135. Senior Blake Falor, 275, Cheney, placed as a sophomore.

District champions: Lakeside, Othello, Mt. Baker.

Mat facts:Medical Lake’s Jonny Varona, 215, and Kris Matthews, 112, of Lakeside will defend state titles. They are among seven Great Northern League placing veterans.

District champions: Liberty Bell, Zillah, Concrete.

Mat facts: Almira/Coulee-Hartline’s Craig Winona is one of four returning state champions… . District 7, with 38 qualifiers, is sending its largest contingent in a while.
