$200 Reward Offered For Vandal’S Arrest

A $200 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the vandal who broke into a Post Falls school this week.

The Post Falls Lions Club is offering the reward after the New Vision Alternative School’s greenhouse and plants were damaged sometime Sunday or Monday.

Vandals smashed out the greenhouse’s glass door and entered the greenhouse behind the school at 205 W. Mullan Ave.

The vandal dumped over about $4,000 worth of plants that were growing inside, according to police reports.

The vandal left a note on the door reading, “Hi. I’m sorry about the mess. I would not have done this if I had somewhere to go. Love, Me,” according to reports.

The plants are grown by students then sold in the spring for fund-raisers.

Police are still investigating tips, but haven’t made an arrest.

“We’re not dropping this one,” Sgt. Pete Marion said.
