Post Falls produced pins in the last three matches to wrest a 36-35 decision from Lake City in an Inland Empire League wrestling match Monday night.

Lake City had strung together five straight victories, one by pin and two by major decision, to open a 35-18 lead after 11 matches.

But the Trojans were equal to the challenge. Zach Atkinson started the run, getting a pin with just 14 seconds left in his 189-pound bout; then Aristo Arana pulled one out at 215 in 1:16; and senior heavyweight Kevin Sieger capped the comeback in 3:40.

Girls basketball

Stephanie Lavigne and Lindsay Carrico led Wallace (8-9) to a 49-29 non-league win over visiting Falls Christian Academy (0-14).

Carrico had 15 points, three assists and three steals and Lavigne 12 points and 15 rebounds. Jackie Poole led FCA with 12 points and Joleen Janecek added 11.
