Nic Wrestlers Win

A pin by Trevor Floerchinger at 157 pounds and two forfeits helped North Idaho College take a 37-12 wrestling victory over Yakima Valley on Wednesday.

Floerchinger pinned Tory Olsen 1:05 into the first period. NIC gained decisions from Derek Keaveney (133), Erick Smith (149) and heavyweight Alain Djoumessi. Ry Stone won a major decision, 23-9 over Eric Heinlein at 184 pounds, and Dante Stone registered a 19-3 technical fall over John Williams at 197.
