Third Person Dies From U.S. 95 Crash

A third person has died from injuries received in a two-car collision last month near Worley, Idaho.

Volna Eugene Jacobs, 70, of Coeur d’Alene died as a result of injuries suffered in the June 10 accident. Jacobs was a passenger in a van driven by his daughter. The van was struck by a pickup truck that crossed the highway’s center line.

The truck’s driver, Malcolm MacGregor, 75, of St. Maries, and his wife, Paula, 71, died at the scene, according to the Idaho State Police.

Nineteen people have died this year on the Idaho stretch of U.S. 95.
