Help Needed Forming School Standards

From Staff

The Idaho Board of Education wants parents and business leaders to help develop achievement standards for humanities in the state’s public schools.

The state Legislature this year approved achievement standards, formerly called exiting standards, to outline the concepts and skills children should know as they pass through the school systems. These standards take effect with the 2005 graduating class.

Anyone interested should submit a letter and short resume to Lydia Guerra, achievement standards coordinator. Guerra’s phone number is (877) 394-8464.
