Soper Retains Bowling Lead

Norb Wetzel took a 26-pin lead over Butch Soper after the second round of match play in the PBA’s Seattle Senior Open.

Wetzel has a tournament-best match-play record of 11-5 and a 40-game pinfall total of 9,685. Soper, who had a high game of 229, is 8-8 in match play.

Dale Eagle is third at 9,406, followed by Bob Glass at 9,316, and Roger Workman at 9,300.

The top five after today’s final round of match play will advance to the stepladder final.
