Hearing Examiner Oks Church Project

A new and growing non-denominational church moved one step closer to receiving approval for construction of a 25,000-square-foot building.

A Kootenai County hearing examiner recommended approving construction of the Real Life Ministries church, on the southeast corner of Pines Road and 20th Avenue.

The church, which would cost about $1.2 million to build, would include a 1,500-seat sanctuary, classrooms, offices, a playground and a ball park.

County commissioners will vote on the decision today.
