Gu Students Named Tau Beta Pi Members

The following Gonzaga University engineering students are among those who have been accepted into the Washington Delta Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, a national engineering honor society.

The society promotes integrity and excellence in engineering by recognizing exceptional engineering students who also perform community service.

Tau Beta Pi’s new members, along with their majors and hometowns are: Paula Fortier, senior, computer engineering, Coeur d’Alene; and Audrey Wallace, senior, mechanical engineering, Post Falls.

The following Coeur d’Alene residents attending North Idaho College were named to the dean’s list for the 1999 fall semester.

Their hometown was listed incorrectly in a previous Achievements column.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must carry a minimum of 12 credits and a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher.
