‘Natural Building’ Slide Show Monday

Robert Bolman, president of the the Northwest EcoBuilding Guild’s Eugene, Ore., chapter, will present a slide show titled “Natural Building and Social Justice” at 6:45 p.m. Monday at Spokane’s Unitarian Universalist Church, 4340 W. Fort George Wright Drive.

Bolman, who describes himself as “an artist, builder, social and environmental activist and troublemaker,” will compare today’s typical home with more energy-efficient alternatives, including passive-solar and straw-bale construction.

His 75-minute slide presentation includes examples of modest, efficient buildings popular in other parts of the world.
