Clark Fork Has Sights On Fourth
Junior Brent Stutzke scored a game-high 28 points Friday and Clark Fork harried Council to defeat the Lumberjacks 74-63 for the right to play for fourth place in the Idaho State A-4 boys high school basketball tournament in Nampa.
Clark Fork fought to a 37-31 lead at halftime, but slipped to a one-point advantage by the fourth quarter. The Wampus Cats then went on a 22-12 scoring run to put Council away.
Although the Lumberjacks had 42 rebounds to Clark Fork’s 36, the Wampus Cats lost no points to turnovers while scoring 12 as a result of Council’s mistakes. Dillon Yates led Council with 17.
