Tulay Karapisto exchanged wedding vows with Tom Gast in a Jan. 22 ceremony at the DoubleTree Hotel in the Spokane Valley.

The bride is the daughter of Yilman and Gulfer Karapisto, Izmir, Turkey. The bridegroom is the son of Sharon Brazell, Spirit Lake, Idaho, and George Gast, California.

A reception at the hotel followed the ceremony. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon in Las Vegas.

The bride is a merchandising assistant, and the groom is a machinist.
